Storytelling & Poetry Workshops

Inclusive workshops can target any need or interest from creative writing and storytelling, through maths, science and organisational change to emotional well-being, drama, movement and music, ‘gifted and talented’, and ‘special needs’ in any subject at any age. More

For instance:
  • Using original stories such as ‘How the Snow got its Sparkle and the Stars Became’ to develop creative writing skills and those required for all genres of writing including non-fiction for all ages and levels.

  • Using original stories such as ‘The Man with Holes in his Hat’ to develop maths and design and technology projects; science projects (e.g. materials); geography projects on e.g. weather; poetry including haiku; developing early French vocabulary; discussion and debate on poverty and shame; or cross-curricular projects and many others!

  • The North American Myth of a drum battle between Lone Man and the Spotted Eagle Hoita is wonderful for developing beginner’s drumming and percussion composition, exploring other cultures, debating settlement and conquest, movement, drama, and so much more. More

  • Using original stories such as ‘The Illuminer’ and ‘The Emperor’s Daughters’ to promote discussion for transformational change within organisations or individuals.
As you can see – there are endless possibilities. Contact me with your requirements and I will tailor-make a workshop.
